I rented a U-Haul Sprinter(?) to pick up antiques, because antiques are life and I’m ambiguously straight like that. I’ve never had a van before. It was pretty sweet. If driving a pickup was an 8/10 experience, this was a 9/10. I really had to fight the urge to see if I could roll it.
Low end acceleration was pretty sweet, even if it bottomed out at 40.

AFAIK U-Haul doesn’t rent Sprinters, so you likely got a Transit 250, which is just as fun to dart about in!

Are you a father? That could easily explain your love of antiques.

Actually, I thought the key said Dodge but I’m about 80% sure now that it said GM, so I don’t even know what that would be.

Not as far as I know. But I liked antiques when I was a teenager, which probably contributed to my mom having a talk with me when I was 14 about how she’d “love a gay son just as much as a straight son, it’d be totally okay.”* Not to support sexual/gender stereotypes, though.
*I think my mom really wanted at least one gay son.

Well, I’d definitely go for an A Team van. I pity the fool who thinks that’s skeevy.

That’s not skeevy. That’s awesome!

I know, right? I solved my own problem. I can definitely own a panel van if it’s A Team themed.

Get a minivan. Not only are they handy but you become completely invisible to young women.

So then, which B.A.?

2017 GMC Savana
Won’t look like a rape van if you don’t buy a white one.

Are you my long lost brother?
You just described a scene from my childhood, I told my mother the chairs in the living room were awful and we needed more original Eames chairs in the house. Had the same “love a gay son just as much as a straight son, it’d be totally okay” talk.

1. Screw that van, I want to see the antiques! (ambiguously not straight)
2. If I had to choose a van it guess a Vandura, but I would never own a van and instead buy a GMT400 or GMT800 with the Yukon prefered and a 6.5 for the 400 and the 8.1 2500 for the 800.

That’s pretty much my response every time everyone has mentioned Neo-Nazis in the past few weeks.

I loved driving these around; my dad’s work had three panels for moving photocopiers.. They had the same running gear as my 86 sr5 4x4 but felt much peppier.
Awd Previa would do if you like spaceships..

I do like spaceships and I like where you’re going with this.

Well do i have a van for you.

Get a cargo van, but pretend you’re a contractor or something and put a logo on it. That makes it less suspicious.

You’re not going to beat a SpaceGear with that thing..

I quite like vans. Driving the Dodge B250 I briefly had around the neighbourhood was cool, before I realized the water pump didn’t work. Part of me wishes I’d fixed it instead of selling, simply because of the interior. Most comfortable seats in anything I’ve ever had. I want another one, with less miles on it, and a V8. It even steered really nicely, which is the opposite of the Ford E250 I drove once. That thing was hot garbage.
